ABOUT Schezwan Bell Pepper Rice RECIPE

They are super tangy complimented with the spices from the bell peppers as well.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. A bowl of chopped capsicum ( green, red, yellow )
  2. A bowl of spring onions
  3. Salt to taste
  4. Schezwan sauce - 2 tbsp
  5. Soya sauce - 1 tsp
  6. 2 tbsp roasted onions
  7. 1 tsp ginger garlic powder

Instructions

  1. HEAT A WIDE PAN WITH 2 TBSP OIL, ADD CHOPPED CAPSICUM ( YELLOW, RED AND GREEN ) EVERYTHING.
  2. ADD REQUIRED SALT, GIVE A FINE STIR.
  3. AFTER 2 , 3 MINUTES, ADD THE SCHEZWAN SAUCE. ( I USUALLY STOCK HOME MADE SAUCE ).
  4. A TBSP SOYA SAUCE IS ALSO ADDED. GIVE A NICE STIR.
  5. SPRINKLE 1 TBSP FULL OF FRIED ONIONS.
  6. ADD A TSP OF GINGER GARLIC POWDER. MIX WELL.
  7. AFTER SAUTEING FOR A WHILE, ADD FINELY CHOPPED SPRING ONIONS.
  8. ALLOW EVERYTHING TO GET FOR ALMOST 5 MINUTES, ADD THE COOKED BASMATI RICE
  9. MIX EVERYTHING TOGETHER..
  10. THE SCHEZWAN RICE IS READY.
