Ingredients Serving: 7

  1. Rajma 1/2 cup
  2. Water for soaking 1 cup
  3. Water to grind 1.5 ladle
  4. Garlic fat cloves 2
  5. Whole wheat flour 2 cups
  6. Salt 1/2 teaspoon
  7. Water required for kneading
  8. ajwain 1 teaspoon
  9. Turmeric powder 1/4 teaspoon
  10. Ghee for flour 3 teaspoons
  11. Ghee 5 tablespoons

Instructions

  1. Soak 1/2 cup rajma In 1 cup water overnight . Next day, grind soaked rajma , 2 fat garlic cloves
  2. with little water into a thick smooth paste .
  3. Ground Rajma paste is ready .
  4. Take 2 cups whole wheat flour in a wide bowl .
  5. Add a teaspoon of Ajwain , 1/3 teaspoon salt to the flour .
  6. Add 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder.
  7. Add 3 teaspoons ghee .
  8. Mix all together and start kneading .
  9. Add required water gradually while kneading into a smooth soft dough .
  10. Cover and rest the dough for 15 minutes .
  11. Divide the dough into medium sized balls . Dust the balls with little flour .
  12. Roll out each ball into thin large parathas .
  13. Heat a iron griddle to smoking point . Bring the flame to medium .Place one paratha on the griddle.
  14. When the upper side bubbles out , flip to another side .
  15. Smear a teaspoon of ghee , apply throughout . Let it be for 7 seconds .
  16. Flip to another side , cook until golden brown spots appear both sides. Remove .Repeat process .
  17. Rajma whole wheat Parathas are ready .
