  1. For the buns
  2. flour 2.5cups
  3. sugar 2 tbsp
  4. yeast 2 tsp
  5. salt 1 tsp
  6. Milk 1 cup
  7. egg 1
  8. FOR CUSTARD
  9. eggs 3
  10. sugar 1 cup
  11. Milk 1.5 cups
  12. maida 2 tsp
  13. cornflour 2tsp
  14. butter 2 tbsp
  15. Vanilla extract 1 tsp

Instructions

  1. IN 21/2 CUPS FLOUR ADD 1 TSP SALT
  2. ADD 2 TSP YEAST
  3. ADD 2 TBSP SUGAR
  4. ADD 1 EGG
  5. ADD 1 CUP MILK GRADUALLY
  6. MIX
  7. MAKE A PILABLE DOUGH
  8. ADD 2 TBSP BUTTER
  9. SPREAD AND ROLL THE DOUGH
  10. KNEAD THE DOUGH FOR 10 MINS.APPLY LITTLE GHEE
  11. SPREAD
  12. COVER AND LET IT REST FOR 1HR OR TILL IT DOUBLES
  13. MEANWHILE LET'S MAKE OUR CUSTARD.IN 3 EGGS ADD 3/4 CUP SUGAR
  14. ADD 2 TSP FLOUR
  15. ADD 2 TSP CORNFLOUR
  16. WHISK IT WELL
  17. ADD 1.5 CUPS MILK
  18. WHISK AGAIN
  19. SEIVE THE MIXTURE
  20. PLACE ON THE STOVE AND KEEP WHISKING
  21. THE CUSTARD WILL THICKEN.
  22. ONCE COMPLETELY THICK REMOVE FRM STOVE AND ADD 2TBSP BUTTER
  23. ADD 1 TSP FRESH VANILLA EXTRACT
  24. MIX WELL.THIS IS OUR CUSTARD CONSISTENCY
  25. OUR DOUGH HAS RISES BEAUTIFULLY
  26. PUNH IT TO REMOVE THE AIR
  27. DIVIDE INTO 6 TO 8 BALLS
  28. FLATTEN THE DOUGH &FILL THE CUSTARD INSIDE
  29. SEAL PROPERLY AND LET THEM REST FOR 30 MIN
  30. APPLY MILK+HONEY WASH OVER THE BUNS
  31. DRIZZLE THE CUSTARD ALL OVER AS WELL
  32. BAKE IN A PREHEATED OVEN AT 180 D CELSIUS FOR 18 TO 20 MINS OR TILL THE TOPS TURN BROWN
  33. ENJOY THEM WARM
