ABOUT Palak Paneer Parantha RECIPE

I always like cooking fusion recipes so today i have created a chat pata, mouthwatering recipe made with the combination of palak and paneer with an amazing aroma of ghee.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Multi grain wheat flour 2 cups
  2. Ghee 1 tbs + 3 tbs
  3. Salt to taste
  4. 1 cup blanched Spinach puree
  5. For stuffing- caraway seed 1/2 tsp
  6. Red chilli powder 1 tsp
  7. Green chilli chopped 2 nos
  8. Coriander leaves chopped 1/4 cup
  9. Fenugreek leaves chopped 1/4 cup
  10. Paneer masala powder 1 tsp
  11. Amchur powder 1 tsp
  12. Oil 1 tsp
  13. Hing (asafoetida)pinch
  14. Mint leaves 2 tbs
  15. Salt to taste
  16. Paneer 1 cup grated

Instructions

  1. TAKE 2 CUPS MULTI-GRAIN / REGULAR WHOLE WHEAT FLOUR
  2. ADD SALT TO TASTE, 1 TBSP OIL, 1 CUP BLANCHED SPINACH PUREE
  3. KNEAD INTO A DOUGH, COVER & SET ASIDE FOR 10 MINS
  4. HEAT 1 TBSP GHEE, ADD 1 TSP CAROM SEEDS
  5. ADD A PINCH OF ASAFOETIDA, 1 TSP RED CHILLI POWDER, 2 CHOPPED GREEN CHILLIES
  6. ADD 1 CUP GRATED COTTAGE CHEESE
  7. ADD 1/4 CUP EACH OF CHOPPED FRESH FENUGREEK & CORIANDER, 2 TBSP MINT LEAVES
  8. ADD 1 TSP PANEER / GARAM MASALA
  9. ADD 3/4 TSP AMCHUR POWDER, MIX, THE STUFFING IS READY, TAKE OFF HEAT
  10. TAKE SMALL BALLS OF THE RESTED DOUGH, ROLL OUT ROTIS
  11. THEN ADD 1-2 TBSP STUFFING IN THE CENTRE, PLACE ANOTHER ROTI ON TOP
  12. CUT OUT NEAT CIRCLES
  13. MARK WITH DESIGNS OF YOUR CHOICE ALONG THE EDGES
  14. GREASE A HOT NONSTICK TAVA WITH SOME GHEE, PLACE THE STUFFED ROTIS
  15. GRILL FROM BOTH SIDES UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN & CRISP, SERVE HOT WITH CHUTNEY & CURD
