Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. 500 gm chena or Indian cottage cheese
  2. 500gmsugar
  3. Some saffron flake
  4. Two drop rose essence
  5. Four drop yellow colour

Instructions

  1. BOIL 750 ML WATER WITH 25 GMS SUGAR
  2. MASH 500 GMS CHENA
  3. ADD 4 DROPS OF YELLOW COLOUR, 2 DROPS OF ROSE ESSENCE & 1/4 CUP SAFFRON - MILK MIX
  4. MIX
  5. KNEAD INTO A SOFT DOUGH
  6. ADD 1 TBSP MILK INTO THE CHASHNI
  7. BOIL FOR 3 MINS
  8. DIVIDE DOUGH & SHAPE INTO BALLS
  9. PUT THE BALLS INTO THE BOILING CHASHNI
  10. COOK FOR 15 MINS
  11. COOL, REMOVE BALLS & BOIL CHASHNI AGAIN WITH 25 GMS SUGAR
  12. ADD TWO GREEN CARDAMOMS & SOAKED SAFFRON STRANDS, BOIL FOR 2 MINS
  13. ADD COOLED BALLS, COOK FOR 2 MINS
  14. SERVE CHILLED GARNISH WITH PISTACHIOS & SAFFRON STRANDS
