ABOUT Nankhatai RECIPE

Nankhatai is a traditional Indian biscuit. These short bread style Eggless cookies is crunchy and crumbly with a sensatonal aroma of cardamom. Made in numerous, to name a few Maida, besan, suji naankhatai with ghee. Make these biscuits and gift to your loved ones this festive season!. Nankhatai buiscuit is best served with a hot cup of tea.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Maida 1 cup
  2. Besan 1 /2 cup
  3. Pistachios to top
  4. sooji 2 1/2 tablespoon
  5. Baking powder 1/2 teaspoon
  6. Powdered sugar 1 /2 cup
  7. Pinch salt 1
  8. Pinch cardamom powder
  9. Ghee 1 /2 cup

Instructions

  1. Into 1 cup of flour, add a Pinch of salt
  2. Add 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  3. Add 1/2 cup gram flour
  4. Add 2.5 tablespoon semolina
  5. Add 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  6. Add 1/4 teaspoon cardamom Powder
  7. Add 1/2 cup ghee
  8. Mix into an oily dough
  9. Shape into round pedas
  10. Place in a baking tray.
  11. Mark with a plus sign in the Centre
  12. Top with pistachios & bake in A pre heated oven at 160 Degrees for 18 minutes
  13. Cool and serve
