Simple light and Indian style corn matar masala qickly tossed with onion and tomato gravy and garnished with fresh coriander leaves. Can have with roti or parathas

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Oil 2-3 tbsp
  2. Corn 1cup
  3. Green peas 1/2 cup
  4. Ginger garlic crushed 1tsp
  5. Green chilli 1slit
  6. 3-4 curry leaves chopped
  7. Onion 1 chopped
  8. Tomato 1 chopped
  9. Red chilli powder 1/2 tsp
  10. Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
  11. Garam masala 1/2 tsp
  12. Jeera powder 1/4 tsp
  13. Salt to taste
  14. Coriander leaves for garnishing

Instructions

  1. FRY 1 TSP GINGER-GARLIC, 3-4 CURRY LEAVES & 1 GREEN CHILLI IN 3 TBSP HOT OIL
  2. ADD 1 ONION, FRY TILL TRANSLUCENT
  3. ADD 1/2 CUP EACH OF PEAS & TOMATOES, COOK TILL SOFT
  4. ADD SALT, 1/4 TSP TURMERIC, 1 TSP RED CHILLI, 1/2 TSP GARAM MASALA & 1/4 TSP CUMIN
  5. ADD 1 CUP STEAMED CORN, SPRINKLE 2-3 TBSP WATER
  6. ADD FRESH CORIANDER, COVER & COOK FOR 5-7 MINS
  7. SERVE HOT
