A twist to the classic Indian dessert, Gulab Jamun by combing it with black coffee to create a fusion cupcake...!

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 150 gms all purpose flour
  2. 100 gms castor sugar
  3. 50 ml black coffee/regular coffee liquor
  4. 1/2 tspn baking soda
  5. 4 small gulab jamuns chopped
  6. 2 tbsn oil
  7. 20 ml buttermilk
  8. 1 egg
  9. 1 tbsn salted butter
  10. 20 gms caster sugar
  11. 5 ml sweetened condensed milk
  12. 2 tbsn melted white choclate

Instructions

  1. COMBINE 150 GMS FLOUR, 1/2 TSP BAKING SODA, 100 GMS CASTOR SUGAR & 4 CHOPPED GULAB JAMUNS. MIX.
  2. ADD 1 TBSP OIL & 20 ML BUTTERMILK IN 50 ML BLACK COFFEE LIQUOR. MIX.
  3. ADD 1 EGG TO THE COFFEE MIX AND WHISK UNTIL WELL-INCORPORATED.
  4. ADD DRY INGREDIENTS TO THE PREPARED BATTER. MIX TO GET A THICK BATTER.
  5. LINE CUPCAKE LINERS IN A MUFFIN TRAY. FILL THEM UPTO 2/3 RD WITH THE BATTER.
  6. BAKE FOR 15 MINUTES OR UNTIL DONE AT 200 DEGREE CELSIUS.
  7. FROSTING: COMBINE 20 ML SWEETENED CONDENSED MILK, 20 GMS CASTOR SUGAR &1 TBSP BUTTER. MIX WELL.
  8. ADD 1 TBSP MELTED WHITE CHOCOLATE. MIX.
  9. PIPE THE ICING ONTO THE CUPCAKES.
  10. DECORATE WITH CHOCOLATE SHAVES, COLOURFUL SPRINKLES & A FEW PIECES OF GULAB JAMUN.
