Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Moriya 2 cup
  2. buttermilk 2 glass
  3. water 3 cup
  4. oil 2 tbs
  5. jeera 1/2 tsp
  6. Dry red chilli 2
  7. Star anise 1
  8. hing 1/4 tsp
  9. turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  10. Kashmiri red chilli powder 1 tsp
  11. salt 1 tsp
  12. Gree chilli chopped 2
  13. Fresh coriander leaves chopped 2 tbsp

Instructions

  1. SOAK 1 CUP SAMAK RICE IN 3 CUPS WATER FOR 10 MINS
  2. HEAT 2 TBSP OIL, ADD 1/2 TSP CUMIN, 1 STAR ANISE & 2 DRY RED CHILLIES
  3. ADD 1/4 TSP ASAFOETIDA
  4. ADD 1/4 TSP TURMERIC POWDER
  5. ADD 2 CUPS BUTTERMILK
  6. ADD 1 TSP RED CHILLI POWDER, 1 TSP SALT
  7. ADD THE DRAINED SAMAK RICE
  8. ADD 2 CHOPPED GREEN CHILLIES, MIX
  9. COVER & COOK ON MEDIUM HEAT FOR 15-20 MINS
  10. ADD 2 TBSP CHOPPED FRESH CORIANDER LEAVES, SIMMER FOR 5 MINS
