ABOUT Pasta in Red Sauce RECIPE

This sauce is full of flavour,quick and easy to prepare.Can call vegetable sauce as there is vegetables and olive oli in it.My kids loved this delicious and beautiful sauce so much.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Ingredients fo making Bell -Pepper Tomato Sauce:-
  2. Chopped bell pepper 2 cup
  3. Chopped tomatoes. 2 cup
  4. Olive oil 1Tbsp
  5. Onion Powder 1/2 Tsp
  6. Garlic powder 1/2 Tsp
  7. Black pepper Powder 1Tsp
  8. Salt 1Tsp
  9. Fresh basil leaves 4-5 No.
  10. Ingredients for making pasta :-
  11. Pasta uncooked 2cup
  12. Water as required to cook pasta
  13. Salt 2Tsp (1Tsp +1Tsp divided)
  14. Dyr oregano 1tsp
  15. Dry parsely 1tsp
  16. Olive oil 1Tbsp
  17. Minced garlic 2 Tsp
  18. Chopped yellow pepper 1/4 Cup
  19. Chopped Green Pepper 1/4 Cup
  20. Black pepper powder 1Tsp
  21. Fresh basil leaves for garnishing. 3No.

Instructions

  1. HEAT 1 TBSP OLIVE OIL, ADD 2 CUPS CHOPPED RED BELL PEPPERS
  2. ADD 2 CUPS DICED TOMATOES, 1 TSP EACH OF PEPPER POWDER & SALT
  3. COVER & COOK FOR 20-25 MINS ON LOW-MEDIUM HEAT, STIRRING ONCE IN BETWEEN
  4. ADD 1/2 TSP EACH OF ONION & GARLIC POWDERS, 4-5 FRESH BASIL LEAVES, COOK FOR 3-4 MINS, COOL & BLEND
  5. TRANSFER THE READY SAUCE INTO A BOWL, SET ASIDE
  6. BOIL 500 ML WATER, ADD 1 TSP SALT, 2 CUPS PASTA, COOK FOR 8-10 MINS
  7. PASTA IS DONE, RESERVE 2-4 TBSP OF PASTA WATER FOR LATER USE
  8. DRAIN, ADD 1 TSP OLIVE OIL
  9. HEAT 1 TBSP OIL, ADD 2 TSP MINCED GARLIC
  10. ADD 1/4 CUP EACH OF YELLOW & GREEN PEPPERS, SAUTE FOR A FEW MINS
  11. ADD 1/2 CUP READY SAUCE
  12. ADD THE COOKED PASTA, 1 TSP EACH OF DRIED OREGANO & PARSELY
  13. ADD 1 TSP PEPPER POWDER & SALT, TOSS TILL THE PASTA GETS COATED WITH THE SAUCE
  14. ADD THE RESERVED PASTA WATER, MIX WELL, TAKE OFF HEAT
  15. GARNISH WITH FRESH BASIL LEAVES, SERVE HOT
