Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Regular Rice 1cup
  2. Urad daal 1/4cup
  3. Thick sour curd 1/2cup
  4. Ginger chopped 1tbsp
  5. Green chilli 2-3 chopped
  6. salt as per taste
  7. Oil 1 tbsp
  8. Eno 1tsp
  9. for tempering -
  10. Oil 1 tbsp
  11. Cumin - mustard seeds 1tsp
  12. GREEN CHILLI 1 CHOPPED
  13. Curry leaves few
  14. chopped coriander leaves for garnishing

Instructions

  1. WASH AND SOAK 1CUP RICE AND 1/4CUP URAD DAAL FOR 3-4HOURS.
  2. ADD 1/2CUP THICK SOUR CURD AND SALT TO TASTE.
  3. MIX WELL.
  4. COVER AND KEEP IT FOR FERMENTATION FOR 8HOURS.
  5. AFTER FERMENTATION, ADD 1TBSP OIL AND
  6. 1TSP ENO TO THE BATTER.
  7. MIX WELL VERY QUICKLY.
  8. POUR IN GREASED PLATES AND TAP SO THAT NO AIR BUBBLES REMAIN.
  9. STEAM FOR 15-20MINS OR TILL DONE.
  10. SPRINKLE CHOPPED CORIANDER LEAVES.
