Juicy, moist and savory chicken kebab seasoned Filipino-style with soy sauce, banana ketchup and garlic. Absolutely delicious!!

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 12 oz boneless and skinless chicken breasts, cut into cubes
  2. 3/4 tablespoon soy sauce
  3. 1 tablespoon sweet soy sauce
  4. 1 tablespoon banana ketchup(for authentic taste/you may choose any desired one too)
  5. 2 cloves garlic, minced
  6. 1 inch piece ginger, minced
  7. 1 pinch of salt
  8. 1 tablespoon ground black pepper
  9. 1/2 tablespoon Lemon juice
  10. 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil


  1. Soak the bamboo skewers for 30 minutes.
  2. Marinate the chicken with the soy sauce, sweet soy sauce, banana ketchup, garlic, ginger, salt, pepper and lemon juice, for 30 minutes.
  3. Stir the chicken and the sauces together, coat well.
  4. Thread a few pieces of the chicken onto the bamboo skewers
  5. Repeat the same until all chicken cubes are threaded
  6. Heat up the oven on grill mode /use your barbecue grill
  7. Brush the Olive Oil on the chicken pieces
  8. Align the skewers into the oven and grill each side by turning the skewers,until crisp
  9. Drizzle with a dash of lemon juice(optional )and serve hot
