Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. chicken drumsticks 8 no’s
  2. ginger garlic paste -3 tbsps
  3. hung curd -1/2 cup
  4. 2 tbsps Kashmiri red chilli powder
  5. 1 tbsp cumin powder
  6. salt to taste
  7. 1 1/2 cup Garam masala
  8. 1 tbsp tomato ketchup
  9. 2 tbsp barbecue sauce
  10. 3-4 tbsps lemon juice
  11. 2 tbsps corn flour / besan
  12. olive oil / butter for basting


  1. Clean, wash and pat dry the chicken. Make 2-3 incisions on the drumsticks, so that the masala goes deep in, while marinating.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the ginger garlic paste, curd, red chilli powder, cumin powder, salt,hung curd, ketchup, barbecue sauces and corn flour / besan, lemon juice and mix it well
  3. Now put the chicken pieces into the marinade and coat the drumsticks properly, so that they are coated well
  4. Leave it to marinade for around 4-5 hours in the refrigerator.
  5. Put a grill pan on the gas stove on medium heat and brush it with olive oil or butter.
  6. Place the marinated chicken pieces onto the grill pan and brush it will oil / butter
  7. Grill it for 10-15 mins on one side and then flip over to the other side. keep basting at regular intervals.
  8. Another 10-15 mins on the other side, till the chicken is properly cooked and grilled.
  9. Serve it hot with mint / curd chutney And slices of onion
