ABOUT Mexican paneer burrito bowl RECIPE

Burrito bowl is a basically one dish meal . In burrito bowl rice is fried with colourful vegetables ,layered with kidney bean cooked in sauce , topped with salsa and saur cream , tossed panner with aromatic seasoning ,garnished with cheese and served with crisp nachos ..but here i made a nachos bowl for burrito bowl ....and served burrito in it.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 cup cooked basmati rice
  2. 2 tablespoon oil
  3. 2 tablespoon chopped garlic
  4. 2tablespoon chilli flackes
  5. 1/2cup chopped onion
  6. 1/2cup chopped capsicam
  7. 1/2cup boiled sweet corn
  8. 2tablespoon tomato ketchep
  9. For beans
  10. 1cup soaked and boiled Rajma
  11. 1tablespoon oil
  12. 1teaspoon chopped garlic
  13. 1cup choppped tomato
  14. 1/4cup tomato ketchup
  15. 1teaspoon chilli powder
  16. Salt to taste
  17. For saur cream
  18. 1cup hung curd
  19. 2 teaspoon lemon juice
  20. Salt to taste
  21. For salsa
  22. 1 cup chopped tomato
  23. 1/2cup onion
  24. 2table spoon boiled sweet corn
  25. 1tabkesooon chopped bellpepper
  26. 1teaspoon chilli flakes
  27. 1 teaspoon Chopped corriander
  28. 1teaspoonLemon juice
  29. Salt to taste
  30. For Paneer
  31. 1/2cup chopped paneer
  32. 2tablespoon Piri peri masala
  33. 1teaspoon Oil
  34. Salt to taste
  35. For Nachos Bowl
  36. 1cup maize flour
  37. 2table spoon refined flour
  38. 1/2teaspoon red chilli powder
  39. 1teaspoon turmeric powder
  40. 1/4teaspoon salt
  41. Oil to fry as required
  42. Other ingredients
  43. 1/2cup grated cheese
  44. 1table spoon Mint leaves


  1. For rice
  2. Heat oil spite onion garlic
  3. Add all vegetables
  4. Saute for 2 minutes
  5. Add rice and salt and saute for few minutes.keep aside.
  6. For beans
  7. Heat oil in a pan soute garlic and onion . Add tomatoes cooked on low flame till become mushy.
  8. Add tomato sauce ,stir continuesly.
  9. Add rajma cook for 2 minutes .Keep aside
  10. For salsa
  11. Combine all ingredients in a deep bowl and mix well .Keep aside
  12. For paneer
  13. Add peri peri seasonings in paneer add oil and salt too .
  14. Keep aside for 10 minutes on rest.
  15. Heat a griddle and toast paneer on it for few minutes.keep aside .
  16. For nachos bowl
  17. Add all Ingredients in a bowl kneed with some water .
  18. Heat oil in a wok .Keep on medium flame
  19. Devide dough into equal lime size balls.
  20. Now take a dough ball .
  21. Roll like a small poori and prick fork.
  22. put it in a bowl or steel strainer. and fry both sides on low flame till it become golden and crisp
  23. Keep aside for cooling .
  24. After cooling it will become hard like nachos.keep aside
  25. Assembling
  26. Devide rice , beans ,salsa, paneer into 5 equal part or as required.
  27. Just before serving take a nachos bowl .
  28. Place a portion of rice ,and press it lightly with back of a spoon
  29. Add rajma on one side press it too.
  30. Add salsa on other side .
  31. Add paneer on other side .
  32. Top with saur cream
  33. Garnish with 1table spoon grated cheese and mint leaves .
  34. Repeat for another bowls .
  35. Serve immediately.
