Nutty biscotti

Ingredients to make Nutty biscotti

  • all purpose flour - 175 g
  • salt 1 pinch
  • Baking powder - 1 teaspoon
  • baking soda 1 pinch
  • corn meal 50 g
  • lemon rind 1 pinch
  • sugar powder 115 g
  • Mix dry fruits (Almonds, pistachio, cashew nuts ) 1/4 cup
  • butter 50 gm
  • almond or vanilla essence 2 drops
  • egg 1 n

How to make Nutty biscotti

  1. Take a bowl add all purpose flour, salt, baking soda, baking powder, corn meal, lemon rind, almond, pistachio, cashew nuts, mix it well.
  2. Take another bowl add butter, sugar powder cream it and add almond or vanilla essence, egg and mix it creamy consistency and add the all-purpose flour mixture , mix it to a dough like hearth loaf .
  3. transfer it into the baking tray, bake them at 160c for 15 to 20 minutes. Let it cool on wire rack.
  4. Then cut them into thin slices and again bake them at 150 degree c for 5 to 10 minutes.

My Tip:

We can add fresh or dried fruits like cranberry to it .
