Ingredients to make Nutty Whole Wheat Tea Rusks

  • wheat flour 1 cup
  • Suger 1/2 cup
  • Chopped nuts 1/2cup
  • eggs 3
  • Yellow food colour
  • butter 50 grm
  • Baking powder 1/2 spoon

How to make Nutty Whole Wheat Tea Rusks

  1. BEAT 50 GMS BUTTER TILL IT IS FLUFFY
  2. ADD 1/2 CUP SUGAR, BEAT WELL
  3. ADD 3 EGGS, BEAT AGAIN
  4. ADD 1 TSP ALMOND ESSENCE
  5. ADD 1 CUP WHEAT FLOUR, 1/2 TSP BAKING POWDER, BEAT AGAIN
  6. ADD A PINCH YELLOW FOOD COLOUR ( OPTIONAL )
  7. ADD 1/2 CUP CHOPPED MIXED NUTS
  8. THE RUSK BATTER IS READY
  9. POUR INTO A GREASED BAKING TRAY, BAKE IN A PREHEATED OVEN AT 180 DEGREES FOR 25 MINS
  10. REMOVE FROM THE OVEN, ALLOW IT TO COOL, CUT INTO NEAT SLICES
  11. ARRANGE SLICES ON A BAKING TRAY, BAKE AGAIN AT 180 DEGREES FOR 20 MINS
  12. FLIP & BAKE THEM AGAIN FOR 15 MINS
  13. THE RUSKS ARE READY, SERVE WITH TEA
