Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 1½ cup rice
  2. ½ cup udad dal
  3. Salt as per taste
  4. ¾ cup Finely chopped(capsicum,onion,carrot,coriander)
  5. Water as required
  6. Refined oil
  7. Cheese 3 cubes


  1. Soak rice and dal for 5 hours.
  2. Grind into a smooth paste with water
  3. Cover and keep aside for 7-8 hours on a warm place
  4. Add veggies and salt
  5. Make a batter it should be not so thick not so watery
  6. Spread oil on a non-stick pan
  7. Pour 2 spoon batter, don't spread the batter
  8. Cook from both sides
  9. Grate cheese on 1 side
  10. Serve hot with chutney
