Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. All purpose flour/Maida 1 1/2 cup
  2. Baking powder 2 tsp
  3. Baking Soda 1/4 tsp
  4. powdered sugar 3/4 cup
  5. Vanilla essence 1 tsp
  6. Butter 100 gms (melted)
  7. Eggs 2
  8. Milk 3/4 cup
  9. Salt a pinch
  10. Tutti fruiti 2 tbsp


  1. In a bowl, add maida, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
  2. Beat butter, sugar powder and eggs until fluffy.
  3. Add the egg mixture to the flour mixture.
  4. Add milk and essence.
  5. Add tutti frutti to batter.
  6. Mix the batter evenly and let it stand for 30 minutes.
  7. Pre heat the oven at 180 degrees centigrade.
  8. Grease the baking pan with butter and sprinkle some flour over it. Add the batter to the greased pan. Bake for 30 minutes or more.
  9. Check by inserting a toothpick, if it comes out clean the cake is baked or else bake for a few more minutes.
  10. Cool the cake on a wire rack and let it come at room temperature and then serve.

@Dolly, u can add yogurt and 1 spoon of honey in 1 cup flour . gives gud result
