ABOUT Whole Wheat Flour Fruits And Nuts Cake RECIPE

Wheat flour is healthy than all purpose flour. Here whole wheat flour, fresh fruits and nuts were used to prepare kids favourite, flavourful cake.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Wheat flour 1 cup
  2. Milk 1 cup
  3. Jaggery powder 1 cup
  4. Ghee 1/4 cup
  5. Fresh Orange essence 1/2 cup
  6. Lemon juice 2 tsp
  7. Dry fruits and nuts of your choice 1/2 cup
  8. Butter 1/4 cup
  9. Baking powder 1/2 tsp
  10. Baking soda 1/2 tsp
  11. Salt a pinch

Instructions

  1. Blend together Orange essence, jaggery, baking powder, baking soda, salt, lime juice and butter.
  2. Add wheat flour and milk, blend again.
  3. keep it aside for 10 minutes.
  4. Fry the nuts and dry fruits in 2 teaspoon of ghee
  5. Mix well with blended wheat flour.
  6. Add remaining he and mix.
  7. In the meantime place a ring or thick cup inside the pressure cooker and preheat it in high flame.
  8. Take pressure cooker bowl grease it with 1 tsp of ghee.
  9. Transfer the mixture to the bowl.
  10. Place it Inside the preheated cooker.
  11. Clise the lid without the gasket and whistle.
  12. Continue bake in low flame for 35-40 minutes.
  13. Insert a knife, check the cookness.
  14. When the cake is cooked, turn off the flame and remove the lid.
  15. When it completely cools down take out and cut into slices and serve.
