Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Whole wheat flour -1cup
  2. Nachni flour -1cup
  3. Almond powder -1/2 cup
  4. Walnut powder -1/4cup
  5. Edible gum powder -1/4cup
  6. Ghee -1 1/2 to 2 cup
  7. Jaggery grated- 2cupd
  8. Halim- 2tbsp
  9. Dry ginger powder -as per taste
  10. Melin seed
  11. Saffron and elaichi powder optional.


  1. In a deep pan heat ghee add wheat and Nachni flour and roast till nice brown in colour.
  2. Add gum powder and nuts powder may also add coarsely ground nut add melon seeds halim and roast till crackling sound of gum is gone.
  3. Add ginger powder you may also add elaichi powder and saffron.
  4. Mix for few seconds
  5. Add jaggery and turn off the flame.
  6. Mix till jaggery is mixed well
  7. Set in greased plate and cool till set.
  8. Cut when half set .
  9. Remove pieces when completely set and store in air tight container.
  10. Eat in morning with glass of milk for energy through out the day.
