Indian sweet dipped in sugar syrup

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. half cup refined flour
  2. 1 cup grated Mawa
  3. ⅛ spoon baking soda
  4. 2 pinch cardamom powder
  5. 1½ cup sugar
  6. 2½ Cup water
  7. Oil for frying
  8. Chopped pistachio for garnishing

Instructions

  1. mix sugar,water and cardamom powder in a pan and boil for 10 minutes
  2. style continuously and switch off the flame after making 1½ string of sugar syrup
  3. mix s it eved refined flour and baking soda in grated Mawa
  4. make a soft dough and mix milk if required
  5. divided the dough in 20 parts
  6. make plain balls by pressing between greased palm
  7. if there is crack in the balls then mix ½ spoon more milk in dough
  8. Heat oil in a wok
  9. When it is medium hot put the balls slowly in it
  10. Fry on low flame by stirring carefully
  11. Heat the sugar syrup for 2 minutes and dip fried balls in it
  12. Sprinkle pistachio
  13. Soak for 1 hour and serve
