Ingredients to make Gulabjamuns

  • maida 1/2 cup
  • 1 cup grated mawa khoya
  • 1/8 tsp baking soda
  • ghee oil for frying
  • 1/4 tsp cardamom Powder
  • 15-20 chironjii dana
  • 11/2 cup sugar
  • 21/2 cup water

How to make Gulabjamuns

  1. crumble the mawa using hand.add 1/8 tsp baking soda and 1/2cup maida
  2. mix them with a hand.and prepare a dough with little milk.
  3. divide into 18-20 equal parts and make smooth crackless balls with it.
  4. heat ghee or oil.fry the gulabjamuns for 7-8minutes till golden brown.let them cool.
  5. prepare sugar syrup by adding 11/2 cup sugar cardamom powder and water.cook until sugar syrup is sticky for about10 -15 minutes.sugar syrup is ready.
  6. add fried balls into warm sugar syrup .soak them for atleast 1-2 hours before serving.
