Despite the name, you don’t need key limes to make this, regular limes/lemons available at the grocery store are just perfect!Tart, lemony and sweet at the same time, this easy-to-do pie is so hard to resist!!

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 400g sweetened Condensed Milk
  2. 1 1/2 cup Heavy Cream
  3. 2 cups Cracker Crumbs
  4. 5 Egg Yolks
  5. 5 tbsp Sugar
  6. 6 tbsp Unsalted Butter melted
  7. 2 tbsp Grated Lime Peel (only the outer lemon rind not the bitter white inside)


  1. Heat the oven to 150 degrees C and place a buttered pie rack in the center of oven.
  2. Combine the cracker crumbs, 2 tbsp butter and 3 tbsp sugar in a bowl. Mix well.
  3. Press the crumb mixture into the pie rack until even layer is formed. Bake for 10 mins until lightly browned.
  4. In a separate bowl, using an electric beater beat the remaining butter and sugar until its soft and fluffy.
  5. Add egg yolks, condensed milk, lemon juice, lemon peel and whisk together everything.
  6. Now pour the batter onto the cracker crust. And place in the preheated oven.
  7. Bake the pie in preheated oven for about 1 hour until the top layer of pie becomes golden and fluffy.
  8. Whisk the heavy cream with 2 tbsp sugar until it becomes firm.
  9. On a serving plate, place a slice of lime pie and side it with cream and lemon slice.
