Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Rou fish head 1
  2. Onion chopped 2 medium size
  3. Garlic 6 cloves paste
  4. Mustard oil 4 table spoon
  5. Turmeric powder 1 teaspoon
  6. Ginger paste 1/2 teaspoon
  7. Chilli powder 1 teaspoon
  8. Cumin seeds 1/4 teaspoon
  9. Cumin powder 1/2 teaspoon
  10. Fresh coriander leaves
  11. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat mustard oil in a large pan.
  2. Wash the fish head properly and marinate with salt and turmeric.
  3. Deep fry the head well until brown.
  4. Take the fish out and put cumin seeds. Let it pop.
  5. Add chopped onion, garlic, ginger, and fry until light brown.
  6. Take a small bowl and add all the powder Masala and mix with little water to make a paste.
  7. Add the Masala paste in the oil and cook until oil leaves the pan
  8. Break the fried fish head into small pieces and add to the curry.
  9. Put 1/2 cup of water and simmer for 10 mins. Don't forget to cover with a lid.
  10. Keep stirring occasionally.
  11. When the water evaporates and oil starts leaving the pan your dish is ready to serve.
  12. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot
