Ingredients to make Dahi bda

  • 1 cup urad dal
  • 1/2 cup moong dal
  • 1/2 kg dahi [curd]
  • Green chutney as per your taste
  • tamarind chutney as per your taste
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tsp chat masala
  • oil for fry...

How to make Dahi bda

  1. Wash and soak the dal in water for couple of hours. Strain and grind them in a mixer grinder to form a paste.
  2. Add required amount of salt into the ground paste and whisk until fluffy,
  3. Now heat oil in a wok, put dollops of the dal paste and make pakodas. Strain and dip them in water for 30 minutes.
  4. Whisk the curd with little salt. Pour the curd into the serving bowl, add the pakodas, sprinkle green and tamarind chutney, sprinkle chaat masala powder and serve.
