My poha dahi bada are light and the secret ingredient here is pepper Cheese spread in this recipe,.Yess just 1tblspn cheese spread tucked into the lightly softened poha with boiled potatoes and light seasoning ,these are wow.pour over fresh beaten curd your choice of chutneys enjoy !

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 2 medium potatoes boiled
  2. 100 grams poha
  3. Oil to deep fry
  4. 1 tblspn cheese spread
  5. 1tspn Chaat masala
  6. 1 tspn pepper
  7. Salt to taste
  8. 1/2 tspn Red Chilli powder
  9. 1/2 tspn Cummin powder
  10. 1/2 cup Tamaraind chutney
  11. 150 grams curds
  12. 2 tblspn any green chutney


  1. Run water over poha to damp not soak
  2. Add boiled potatoes to poha
  3. Add chaat masala salt and pepper
  4. To this mix add cheese spread
  5. Now mash this mix well
  6. Make tight dahi bada balls
  7. Now keep in fridge for ten minutes at least before frying
  8. Heat oil in kadai
  9. Deep fry on medium heat care fully
  10. Fry just light brown remove in a bowl and cool
  11. Beat up the curd
  12. Pour over these dahi vadas
  13. Sprinkle salt red chilli powder roasted cummin powder .
  14. Pour the tamarind chutney ,available
  15. Add now the green chutney on these
  16. Ready to use in 5Minutes so as to let curd soak the vadas better
