Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Ripe jackfruit bulbs 20-25
  2. Daliya 1/2 cup
  3. Milkmaid 1/2 cup
  4. Ghee 2 tsp
  5. Water 1/2 ltr
  6. Dry nuts chopped 1/4 cup( cashews, badam, walnut)
  7. Raisins few
  8. Salt a pinch
  9. Jaggery 1 cup
  10. Milk 1 cup
  11. cardamom powder 1 tsp


  1. Chop, clean and keep ready jackfruit bulbs.
  2. Grind smoothly without adding water.
  3. Heat half ltr of water, add daliya and cook untill smooth in low flame.
  4. Add jackfruit puree.
  5. Stir continuously untill bubble arise.
  6. Add jaggery, stir and allow it to dissolve completely.
  7. When it starts boiling, add milkmaid.
  8. Stir and mix well.
  9. Now add milk, stir properly to avoid sticking to the bottom.
  10. Add cardamom powder and a pinch of salt, take off flame.
  11. Heat ghee and dry fruits till golden brown in another pan.
  12. Garnish with fried dry nuts, cherries and raisins.
  13. When it comes to room temperature, serve it or store in refrigerator for chill and serve in chill.
