About Chhole masala Recipe

Everybody loves chole that can be served with puri or bhature or even with some pulao on the side. so here is an easy recipe of the same for everyone.

Chhole masala

Ingredients to make Chhole masala

  • 2 cups chole [chickpeas]
  • 2 onion [chopped]
  • 2 tomatoes [chopped]
  • 2 green chilies
  • 2 tbsp mustard oil
  • 2 tbsp salt
  • 1 tsp jeera [cumin seeds]
  • 2-3 bay leaves
  • 2 daalchini [cinnamon stick]
  • 2 badi ilaychi [black cardamom]
  • 4-5 laung [cloves]
  • 4-5 kali mirch [pepper corns]
  • 10-12 garlic
  • 1& half tbsp coriander seeds
  • 1 tsp lal mirch [dry red chilly]
  • 1 tsp haldi [turmeric powder]
  • 1/4 garam masala
  • 2 glass water

How to make Chhole masala

  1. TAKE HOT PAN & ADD 2 TBSP OF MUSTARD OIL & 1 TSP SALT
  2. ADD 1 TSP CUMIN SEEDS & 2-3 BAY LEAFS
  3. ADD 2 DALCHINI, 2 BADI ILAYCHI, 4-5 LAUNG & KALI MIRCH
  4. SAUTE WELL & ADD 2 GREEN CHILIES & 2 CHOPPED ONION.
  5. SAUTE WELL & ADD 10-12 GARLIC
  6. SAUTE WELL
  7. NOW TURN OFF THE FLAME & TAKE OUT BAY LEAVES
  8. TAKE OUT ALL MASALAS LET IT COOL & GRIND IT
  9. PUT ALL MASALA IN KADHAI
  10. ADD 1 & HALF TBSP CORIANDER SEEDS, 1 TSP DRY RED CHILLY , 1 TSP TURMERIC POWDER & SAUTE WELL
  11. ADD TOMATO PASTE MADE OF THE CHOPPED TOMATOES & SAUTE WELL
  12. ADD 1/4 TSP GARAM MASALA, 1 TSP SALT & MIX WELL
  13. ADD THE WATER IN WHICH CHHOLE WERE BOILLED
  14. PUT ALL MASALA IN COOKER
  15. ADD BOILLED CHOLE & MIX WELL
  16. ADD SALT MIX WELL & PUT THE LID OF THE PRESSURE COOKER, COOK ON HIGH FLAME TILL 1 WHISTLE IS ATTAINED.
  17. NOW ITS READY
  18. SERVE IN A BIG BOWL & ENJOY
