Crispy nugget that melts in your mouth, a perfect starter for all occasions.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Left over rice - 1 cup
  2. Boiled and grated potato 3/4
  3. Ginger grated 1 tsp
  4. Chopped garlic - 3/4 pods
  5. Green chilli 1 tsp finally Chopped
  6. Coriander finally Chopped
  7. Black pepper crushed
  8. Salt to taste
  9. 3tbsp Cornflour
  10. Bread crumbs 3 tbsp+ 3 tbsp for coating
  11. Oil for deep frying
  12. For stuffing
  13. Mozzarella cheese - 1" long pieces
  14. Italian mix spices

Instructions

  1. Blend the rice in a mixer grinder.
  2. In a large bowl mix rice, grated potato corn flour 3tbsp bread crumbs, salt, ginger, garlic, coriander, black pepper Mix very well and make a smooth dough.
  3. Now roll on each mozzarella piece in mix spices so they coat nicely on cheese.make a thin paste of cornstarch with water and keep aside.
  4. Now take the mix of potato and rice in your palm and flat that now place the cheese piece on the Centre and give a shape of nugget. Make rest like this and keep them in fridge for around 15/20 minutes.
  5. Now heat the oil and dip the nugget in cornstarch batter and roll on bread crumbs.
  6. Now deep fry them till golden colour. serve hot with tomato sauce and green chutney.
