Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 400 grams Chicken mince
  2. 1 cup Chana daal soaked
  3. 1 inch piece daal cheeni
  4. 6 green cardamoms
  5. 1 tsp turmeric powder
  6. 1 tsp garam masala powder
  7. 2 finely chopped onions
  8. 8 to 10 garlic pods
  9. 1 inch piece ginger
  10. 2 green chillies
  11. Few drops kewra essence
  12. Salt to taste
  13. 3 tbsp oil


  1. Heat a pan, with one tbsp oil.
  2. Add whole spices.
  3. Once they splutter,add ginger,garlic and onion.
  4. As the onions turn pink add the chicken mince.
  5. Add turmeric,salt and garam masala.
  6. Add chana daal and cover the pan.
  7. Stir after 5 minutes to check,cover again and cook till done.
  8. Cool the mixture and grind it in to a smooth paste.
  9. Add few drops of kevra essence and knead well.
  10. Divide the mixture into small patties.
  11. Put oil in a non stick pan and shallow fry the on both sides.
  12. Serve with onion rings and green chutney
