Soft and fluffy cake which is easy and simple to make

Vanilla sponge Cake

Ingredients to make Vanilla sponge Cake

  • all purpose flour/ Maida 200gm
  • butter 200gm
  • Powdered sugar 200gm
  • eggs 4 nos.
  • Vanilla Essence 2tsp
  • Baking powder 2tsp
  • Milk 1/2 cup

How to make Vanilla sponge Cake

  1. Take a metal tin and grease it with butter and keep it aside.
  2. Take a large bowl add butter and sugar and whisk it until it become smooth.
  3. Now to this add eggs and beat well and add vanilla extract and again beat well until it become fluffy.
  4. Seive maida and baking powder add to the wet ingredients and mix gently. Add milk if the mixture is thick. It should be spoon dropping consistency.
  5. Now pour the mixture to the greased tin and bake it in 180°c pre heated oven for 30 mins.
