This is definitely a crowd pleaser dish & a hit at any family gathering. Curd & cream add a creaminess to the dish & kasturi methi makes it aromatic. Can be served with roti, bread or rice.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. 1/2kg Boneless Chicken
  2. 3 fried onions
  3. 1 tomato
  4. 1 cup yoghurt
  5. 6 cloves garlic
  6. 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  7. 3 tbsp fresh cream
  8. Salt
  9. cumin seeds - 1 tsp
  10. crushed coriander seeds - 1 tsp
  11. green chillies - 3
  12. turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  13. chilli powder - 1 tsp
  14. Ghee
  15. kasuri methi - 1 tbsp
  16. coriander leaves [handful]


  1. - Heat ghee in a pan. Allow it to melt. - Fry onions in ghee till they are dark golden brown. - Once they are dark brown, remove the onions and keep them aside.
  2. - In the same ghee, add chopped garlic and tomatoes. Cook them until they are soft.
  3. - Add the fried onion back in the ghee and mix it well. - Add ginger garlic paste and mix it well. - Add cumin seeds, crushed coriander seeds and green chillies. - Add turmeric powder, salt and chilli powder. Give it a mix.
  4. Add boneless chopped chicken in the mixture and mix it well. - Cover it with a lid and allow it to cook.
  5. Once the chicken is cooked 3/4th add yoghurt. - Add crushed kasuri methi and mix it. - Pour cream along with coriander leaves - Cook for smtime and serve hot!
