Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 1 small bowl mango pulp (ripe)
  2. 1/2 small bowl raw mango pulp
  3. 1 tbsp Chick pea flour
  4. 1 small bowl curd
  5. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  6. 1 tsp + 1/2 tsp kashmiri red chili powder
  7. 1/2 tsp coriander powder salt to taste
  8. 1/2 tsp garam masala
  9. 2 tbsp Desi ghee
  10. 1/2 tsp Cumin powder
  11. 1 tsp cumin seeds
  12. 10-12 curry leaves
  13. 2 red chilies
  14. 3 Boria chilies
  15. 1 tsp Sesame seeds
  16. 1 bowl chopped coriander leaves
  17. 1 tbsp dried fenugreek leaves


  1. Mix mango pulp raw and ripe with curd and chickpea flour in a mixing bowl.... Strain to remove any mango fibre or any lump....
  2. Add water to the strained mixture upto desired consistency approx. 4 glasses...
  3. Add turmeric powder, kashmiri red chili powder, coriander powder and cumin powder and salt to taste... Mix well...
  4. Boil the kadhi till it starts boiling... Keep stiring continously till it boils
  5. For tadka... Heat up a tadka pan... Add desi ghee to it... Add the cumin seeds, red chilies and Boria chilies.... Let it splutter...
  6. Add the curry leaves... 1/2 tsp kashmiri red chili powder and garam masala.... Finally add the sesame seeds.... Pour this tadka in the kadhi...
  7. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and dried fenugreek leaves... Mix well...
  8. Serve this kadhi with steamed rice hot....
