About Pumpkin seeds chutney Recipe

This is a very healthy chutney. They may be small, but pumpkin seeds are little powerhouses of nutrients and health benefits.  Pumpkin seeds contain phytosterols, compounds that that have been shown to reduce levels of LDL cholesterol. Pumpkin seeds are filled with lots of minerals including phosphorus, magnesium, manganese, iron and copper. They are a good sauce of vitamin K. High in zinc, pumpkin seeds are a natural protector against osteoporosis, since zinc deficiencies can lead to higher rates of osteoporosis. You can eat it with bread,chapati,paratha,idli,dosa,samosa and with anything you can eat it.

Ingredients to make Pumpkin seeds chutney

  • Half cup pumpkin seeds
  • leaves Some fresh coriander
  • 2 green chilli
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • salt to test

How to make Pumpkin seeds chutney

  1. Soake half cup of pumpkin seeds in water for 8 hours.
  2. Take some fresh coriander leaves wash and cut it. Put soaked pumpkin seeds in grinder jar.
  3. Put chopped coriander leaves,green chilli, garlic cloves in grinder jar.
  4. Grind it and make smooth paste.
  5. Add lemon juice in it. Take it out in a bowl. Our healthy pumpkin seeds chutney is ready.

My Tip:

Don't peel the pumpkin seeds after soaking in water otherwise it will loose it's Nutrients.
