Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Taro root ( arbi )
  2. Garlic 20 cloves
  3. Ginger 2 inch piece
  4. Onion 4 medium
  5. Tomato 3 medium
  6. Salt to taste
  7. Red chilli powder 2/3 tsp
  8. Termeric powder 2/3 tsp
  9. Garam masala 1/2 tsp
  10. Coriander leaves for garnish
  11. A pinch hing
  12. Lemon 1/2
  13. Green chilli 2-3
  14. Oil 4 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Peel off arbi and cut into slices. Heat 2 tbsp oil in a non stick pan and shallow fry the arbi.
  2. Onion, ginger, garlic, tomatoes,green chilli, put in a blender and make a smooth paste .
  3. In a pan heat remaining oil and add the masala paste. Cook for 5 minutes .
  4. Add dry spices and cook till oil separates.
  5. Add arbi and mix 1/2 cup water cover and cook on low heat to let arbi Absorb the aroma of masalas
  6. Add 1/2 lime juice, and garnish with coriander leaves .
