Dahi Rui

Ingredients to make Dahi Rui

  • Rui fish 3 pieces
  • curd 50 gm
  • Oniin + ginger paste 1 tbsp
  • Mustered oil 3 tbsp
  • White cumin seed 1 tsp
  • turmeric powdee 2 tsp
  • red chilli powder 1 tsp
  • salt 3 tsp
  • Warm water small 4 cup
  • Gorom masala powder 1 tsp
  • sugar 2 tsp

How to make Dahi Rui

  1. First wash the fishes and marinate with little amount salt+turmeric powder
  2. Make a thin paste of curd with little amount of water
  3. Hot the oil in karai then shallow fry the fishes
  4. Add more oil then add cumin seed
  5. Add onion+ginger paste
  6. Add salt+turmeric+chilli paste
  7. Add curd and sugar then saute untill the oil well discharge from karai
  8. Add the warm water
  9. After boiling the water add the fish
  10. Change the fish side
  11. After absorbing the extra water add the garam masala powder and off the flame
  12. Serve hot

My Tip:

If wish add the dhania leaves
