Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 4 rui or rohu fish
  2. Whole garam masala 2pcs each
  3. 1bay leaf
  4. 1tsp turmeric powder
  5. 1tsp chilli powder
  7. 1/2tsp coriander powder
  8. 1tbsp ginger garlic paste
  9. 1chopped tomatos
  10. 1/2onion chopped
  11. 1tbsp onion paste
  12. Salt to taste
  13. Sugar to taste
  14. Oil for Deep frying
  15. coriander leaves chopped
  16. Cumin seeds 1tsp
  17. Dry chillies 2
  18. Green chilli 1-2


  1. Deer fry the fish mixing with turmeric , salt and chilli powder.keep it aside.
  2. Take out extra oil from the same pan and use only 3-4tbsp oil.use whole garam masala, bay leaf,dry chillis and cumin seeds.
  3. Add onion chopped and paste.fry till it turns golden color.
  4. Add ginger garlic paste .
  5. Add tomatoes and all the powder spices. And fry till oil comes out from the sides of the spices.
  6. Add some water now.let it boil for sometimes.
  7. Add fried fish now. And cook for sometimes.
  8. Lastly add garam masala powder and chopped coriander leaves and serve it with hot steamed rice.
