Turkish delight...This is a very common and famous Turkish flat bread called Bazlama.The main ingrident used here is GreekYougurt
I will surely try this.
combine the yeast, warm water and sugar
let the yeast Bloom ,will take 10 to 12 minutes
whisk the Greek yoghurt ,olive oil and salt
gradually add the flour and the basil leaves
using a spatula mix the flour and the yougurt mixture along with the yeast
it won't be a managable dough at first
transfer the mixture into a flat plate and start knesding the dough
Knead till the dough becomes soft
transfer that dough into a bowl and let it rise.oil it.
It's rised beautifully
divide the dough into 10 small balls
roll the dough into a small disc and prick some holes
Apply olive oil and spread your desired topping.Here I have used Zatar
take a hot griddle and put the Zatar side down on the griddle and cook for 2 mins.Apply olive oil on the top side as well.You will see bubbles on the top then turn the Bazlama
Now cook the other side just for a min or 2.
Similarly male any variety of Bazlama and enjoy the simple and amazing treat
Zatar Bazlama
Dry Mint Bazlama
Garlic Bazlama
Even made a Egg Bazlama , simply drop an egg and add salt and pepper , cover and let the egg steam
Serve the Bazlama as it is or with Hummus , Garlic Sauce ,Chicken Sheekh
