Potato curry in sour curd, to be served with roti or pulao.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 4 boiled potatoes
  2. Buttermilk 1½ cup
  3. Dried fenugreek leaves 1 spoon
  4. Salt as per taste
  5. Dry red chilli 1
  6. Bay leaf 1
  7. Cumin seeds ⅛ spoon
  8. Turmeric powder ½ spoon
  9. Oil 2 spoon
  10. Asfoetida 1 pinch
  11. Coriander powder 1 spoon
  12. Red chilli powder ¼ spoon
  13. Garam masala ½ spoon

Instructions

  1. Peel and cut potato cubes
  2. Heat oil in a wok
  3. Add cumin seeds,dry red chilli, asfoetida and bay leaves
  4. Add potatoes
  5. Roast for 2 minutes
  6. Add all spices, salt and dried fenugreek leaves
  7. Roast for 4-5 minutes
  8. Add buttermilk and boil
  9. Stir continuously otherwise curd may curdle
  10. Switch off the flame
