ABOUT Thayir Vadai RECIPE

Thayir vadai is a simple recipe,where the hot fried vadais are soaked in seasoned curds.

Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. 2 1/2 cup curds
  2. 1/2 cup milk
  3. salt as per taste
  4. 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
  5. Few curry leaves
  6. 1/2 tesp mustard seeds,1/2tesp urad dal and 2 dry red chilli .
  7. 10 vadai (refer to my vadai recipe)
  8. oil 1 tesp

Instructions

  1. In a bowl mix curd,milk,salt and coriander leaves,
  2. Place tadka with oil on low flame,add mustard and urad dal,once it splutters add curry leaves and red chilli.
  3. Add this to the bowl of curds
  4. Fry vadai (refer to the recipe I posted)
  5. Add it hot to the curds,let it immerse in the curds.Leave it to soak for 20 minutes.
  6. Soft soaked thayir vadai is ready to serve.
