An easy & tasty breakfast from left over vadas . i used rawa to make vada. different types of vadas are popular in kerala & Tamil nadu. sambar vada, rasa vada, dahi vada & simple vada & chutney.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Rawa 1 cup
  2. Curd 1cup
  3. Chopped onion 1
  4. Chopped Green Chillies 2
  5. Curry leaves a few
  6. Baking powder 1/2 tsp
  7. Salt
  8. Oil to deep fry
  9. For Curd mixture
  10. fresh curd adding very little water. 2 cups
  11. Salt
  12. Sugar a pinch
  13. For Seasoning
  14. Oil 2 tsp
  15. Mustard seeds 1/4 tsp
  16. Red Chillies 2
  17. Coriander leaves 1 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Mix rawa , curd , salt , sugar , onion , chillies , curry leaves , baking powder & salt. keep aside for 20 min.
  2. heat a pan with oil to fry vadas.
  3. apply water on hands & take a ball of rawa mixture , flatten a bit & deep fry .
  4. remove when both sides are well cooked.
  5. when it s cooled put the vadas one by one in water. squeeze excess water.
  6. put them in curd .
  7. heat a small kadai with oil .put mustard seeds & red chilles . fry well. pour it over the vadas.
  8. sprinkle some coriander leaves on top.
  9. let it stay for 2 , 3 hours min. .
