Ingredients to make Rawa Vada.

  • Rawa or suji 1 cup
  • curd 3/4 cup
  • baking soda 1/4 tsp
  • onion 1
  • green chillies 2
  • pepper corns 4 or 5
  • salt
  • curry leaves
  • oil to fry

How to make Rawa Vada.

  1. Chop onion,chillies & curry leaves.
  2. Mix rawa & curd,add all the other ingredients,except oil. Make a dough. Keep for 15 min.
  3. The dough will be a bit runny in consistency. Heat oil. apply water on hands, take a big ball from the dough and flatten it. Make a hole in the middle. Deep fry.
  4. Apply water in your hands , while making vadas. Serve hot with coconut chutney. (you get 7 to 8 vadas from this quantity of mixture)

My Tip:

We can make curd vada,with these vadas. Put in curd,just like we make urud dal vada. Serve with chutney
