Perfect monsoon recipe. Tastes yum. Can also add some panner for richness.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Boiled sweet corn 1 cup
  2. Boiled potato 1 cup
  3. Chopped onion 1/4 cup
  4. Chopped coriander 1 tbsp
  5. Chat masala 1 tsp
  6. Black salt 1/2 tsp
  7. Chilly powder 1 tsp
  8. Maggie magic masala 1 tsp
  9. Salt to taste
  10. Oil 4tbsp
  11. Herb rusk 2 cup
  12. Corn flour 2tbsp
  13. Water


  1. Chop down sweet corn using a food grader or pulse sweet corn in ur mixer twice or thrice.
  2. Add chopped corn, onion coriander and mix well. Add chilly powder, maggie magic masala,chat masala and black salt and mix well.
  3. Add boiled and mashed potatoe to sweet corn mixture.
  4. Grind any herb rusk in powder form.
  5. In a cup add cornflour and water. Mix well to dilute.
  6. Make sweet corn mixture into small tikkie. Dip in cornflour mixture and dust over rusk powder.
  7. Repeat the above process again to obtain thick crisp crust layer of tikkies.
  8. Heat dosa tawa and add oil. Once its hot add in tikkies and roast both the sides.
  9. Enjoy this monsoon with spicy herb flavored corn tikkies with kethcep and mayo.
