Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 4 big green chilli
  2. one cup Gram flour
  3. 1 cup soaked chickpeas lentils
  4. 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  5. half tsp turmeric powder
  6. Pinch of asafoetida
  7. half tsp fennel seeds
  8. half tsp dry mango powder
  9. salt as per taste
  10. half tsp Garam Masala
  11. half tsp sugar
  12. oil for deep fry


  1. Coarsely grind the soaked chickpea lentil in a mixer jar and keep it aside.
  2. now heat 1 tsp oil in a pan
  3. add turmeric powder asafoetida and fennel seeds
  4. then add chickpea lentils and fry till golden brown.
  5. now add all dry spices
  6. then add sugar and mix well and keep it aside.
  7. for better in a bowl add gram flour, water and salt and make smooth better.
  8. For stuffing the green chili, Hold the top of the chili with your fingertips and using a knife, carefully cut it open vertically and remove all the seeds gently.
  9. now stuff chilli with prepared mixture
  10. then dip stuffed chillies in the gram flour better.
  11. Deep fry in hot oil till golden brown.
