About Mango Sago Cake Recipe

Its a healthy dessert with flavour of mango and serve with fresh mango.

Mango Sago Cake

Ingredients to make Mango Sago Cake

  • Small size sago 1/2 cup
  • sugar 3/4 cup
  • mango pulp 1 cup
  • Grated Khoya 1/2 cup
  • Desiccated coconut 1 tbsp

How to make Mango Sago Cake

  1. Boil the sago with two cups of water till half translucent. Add sugar and cook another 2 minutes
  2. Add mango pulp and mix well. Sago should not be cooked completely
  3. Remove from heat and add Khoya, mix it well.
  4. Pour sago mixture in a aluminium foil lined pudding mold .
  5. Place pudding mold on a plate within a steamer and steam for 20-25 minutes.
  6. Cool the cake completely. Refrigerate for one hour.
  7. De-mould and remove aluminium foil.
  8. Sprinkle desiccated coconut on the sago cake . Slice and serve with fresh mango.
