ABOUT Cheesy Schezwan Dosa RECIPE

Yesterday night I had an urge to eat pizza as well as noodles. But for both these dishes, I did'nt want to do all the preparation for the ingredients *lazy*. So, I decided to make some thing quicker. I had leftover dosa batter lying in my fridge. Then an idea came into my mind to mix and match the available ingredients and the result came out better than expected.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Dosa batter 1 cup
  2. Schezwan sauce 3-4 tsp
  3. Grated cheese 3/4 cup or as required
  4. Veggies of your choice (I did'nt use any)
  5. Oregano for seasoning (I did'nt use it as the sauce in itself is very flavourful)


  1. Take the dosa batter and spread it on a skillet with the help of a laddle. Spread it into a thin layer.
  2. Pour some oil on the sides. I like to make it oil-free on a non-stick pan.
  3. Take some sauce in a spoon and spread it over the dosa or in the middle. Don't spread too much, the sauce is very spicy.
  4. Sprinkle the grated cheese over middle of the dosa and let it melt.
  5. Flap the sides of dosa over each other and take it off from the heat.
  6. Serve with tomato sauce and some mayonnaise.

Also add 2 tbsp spicy tomato sauce

Schezwan sauce and cheese in a crisp dosa...very innovative!
