Chocolate mango chiffon cake

Ingredients to make Chocolate mango chiffon cake

  • Milk 1/2 cup
  • sugar 1/2 cup
  • maida 3/4 cup
  • Baking powder 1/2tsp
  • baking soda 1/8 tsp
  • Coco powder 1 1/2 tbs
  • Coffee powder 1/2 tsp
  • Vanilla essences 1/2 tsp
  • Lemmon juice 1/2 tsp
  • Sunflower oil 1 1/2 tbs
  • For mango cream:
  • Vanilla custard 1/2 cup
  • Whipped cream 1 cup
  • Fresh mango juice 1/2 cup
  • For truffle:
  • Chocolate truffle 1 cup

How to make Chocolate mango chiffon cake

  1. Sieve maida, baking powder, baking soda 3 times.
  2. Add sugar, coffee powder in milk. Mix until the sugar dissolves.
  3. Add flour mixture in milk mixture, add vanilla essences and whisk well.
  4. Add oil and whisk again.
  5. Add lemon juice and mix well.
  6. Pour in a greased baking tin, lined with butter paper.
  7. Micro wave at higher power for 5 minutes. Give 5 minutes standing time. Cool it down then cut in the middle.
  8. Add vanilla custard, mango pulp and 1/2 cup whipped cream. Stuffed in between the two layers of cake.
  9. Cover the cake with chocolate truffle.
  10. Add 1/4 cup truffle in 1/2 cup whipped cream. Pipe on the top of the cake with nozzle of your choice.
  11. Serve with garnish of fresh cut mango pieces.
