ABOUT Tuna pizza RECIPE

Pizza is a traditional Italian dish consisting of a yeasted flatbread typically topped with tomato sauce and cheese and baked in an oven. A tuna is a saltwater fish that belongs to the tribe Thunnini, a sub-grouping of the mackerel family.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 1 sheet pizza dough
  2. 80 g tuna fish
  3. 4 tbsp tomato sauce
  4. 2 tbsp tomato cubes
  5. 1/3 onion
  6. 1 tbsp mozzarella
  7. 2 tbsp grated cheese
  8. 1 el olive oil
  9. 1 el cheese
  10. 1 tsp basil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to the highest temperature (minimum 250 ° C). Unroll the pizza dough with the baking paper on the oven plate.
  2. Divide the tomato sauce and the tomato cubes over the dough. Peel the onion and cut into rings. Cut the mozzarella into pieces.
  3. Divide the tuna, the onion and the mozzarella over the pizza. Sprinkle grated cheese over it.
  4. Place the pizza in the oven for about 15 minutes. Brush with the cheese and finish with a few drops of olive oil and shredded basil leaves.
