Ingredients to make tutti frutti coconut cake

  • 150 grams all purpose flour
  • 75 grams powdered sugar
  • 75 grams milk powder
  • 150 ml milk
  • 25 ml oil
  • 2 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 /4 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1/4 Cup desiccated coconut
  • 4 tablespoons tutti frutti

How to make tutti frutti coconut cake

  1. Sieve the all purpose flour along with milk powder, powder sugar, baking soda and baking powder
  2. Now add half of milk and mix it well together
  3. Add oil , salt vanilla assence and rest of milk and mix them all together
  4. Add coconut powder and tutti frutti
  5. Our batter is ready
  6. Now preaheat the oven on 180 degree for 10 minutes and grease a tin with butter and dust it with all purspose flour, remove extra flour
  7. Pour the batter into greased tin, tap the tin for atleaset 8-10 times to remove the air bubbles
  8. Spribkle some coconut powder anf tutti frutti on the top of the cake and bake for 180-200 degree for 40 minutes
  9. After 40 minutes check the cake with toothpick , if comes out clean then its done, otherwise bake for another 5 minutes
  10. Cool the cake at room tempreature, unmould and cut inti slices and serve

My Tip:

Coat the tutti frutti with all purpose flour before sprinkle it on the top of the cake
