#Traditional Gujarati Sweets... Phiniyaa Ladoos Made from Roasted Wheat flour with Whipped Ghee-Sugar mixture.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. 3 Cup Wheat flour
  2. 1tbsp Amul Ghee
  3. 1/4Cup Milk
  4. For Whipped Mixture
  5. 1 Cup Amul Ghee
  6. 2 Cup Powdered Sugar
  7. 2 tbsp Cardamom powder
  8. Almond Halves to Garnish

Instructions

  1. Add 3Cups if Wheat flour in Bowl.
  2. Heat Ghee and Milk in small Vessel for 1min..to get lukewarm Mixture.
  3. Add this lukewarm Ghee-Milk Mixture to Wheat flour in Bowl.
  4. Mix well and rub the mixture with both palm of hands..as shown..to be evenly blend to make Coarse Mixture.
  5. Press this Coarse Mixture with hand..in Same Bowl.Keep covered for 1/2hour.
  6. Now break this pressed Mixture with hand..again rub with both palms of hand as shown before..Seive this mixture with Rawa Seive...as shown.
  7. Roast this Seived Wheat flour mixture in Microwave Safe Bowl.. uncovered for 2mins on quick mode.Take out the bowl from Microwave..break/mix the lumps formed with spoon.Repeat this process of roasting 3 more times.That is you have to roast..the Wheat flour mixture for 8 mins..to get pinkish colour roasted Wheat flour mixture.
  8. Let this roasted Mixture cool for 5mins. Again Seive this mixture with Rawa Seive..to get Coarse Wheat flour mixture needed for preparing Ladoos and to remove lumps formed.
  9. Grind the lump Mixture in mixer grinder to make Rawa like Mixture.Add this Prepared Coarse Wheat Mixture.Cool this Roasted Wheat flour mixture completely before adding to whipped Mixture of Ghee-Sugar.
  10. In flat bottom thali,add Ghee and start whipping with palm of hand in clock wise direction..till light and fluffy white.
  11. Add Sugar powder little by little..Mix well.
  12. Again start whipping this mixture as shown.
  13. Whipped Ghee-Sugar mixture till heaps are formed.
  14. Add Cooked Prepared Roasted Wheat Mixture to this Whipped Ghee-Sugar Mixture.Mix well. add Cardamom powder and Mix well.
  15. Take a small portion from Prepare Dough...roll in Shape of Round Ladoos.Similarly make All Phiniyaa Garnish with Almond Halves.
  16. SERVE AND RELISH THIS TRADITIONAL SWEETS..WHEAT PHINIYAA LADOOS.
